About the project

One of the biggest names in Brazilian commerce, the retailer Americanas S.A. sought Studio Visual’s services to develop a B2B platform for its new logistics initiative. To align with an operation that transports millions of products every month, we built a robust and high-performance website.

Goals

Present in both physical and online commerce, Americanas S.A. moves billions of reais annually in retail product sales. With the success of its e-commerce and marketplace solutions, the company has developed a massive logistics operation over time.

After acquiring three logistics solutions, Americanas aimed to unify them into a single digital product, transforming the previous services into different modes of the new product.

We developed a website to position this new initiative in the market, allowing customers to access and purchase the restructured service.

Approach

Initially, Americanas sought to improve the legacy code of its three logistics products (Direct Log, AmeFlash, and ClickCollect) while merging them into a single solution: Americanas Entrega.

To provide the digital infrastructure for this service, Studio Visual used WordPress and Elementor to create a responsive, high-performance website where clients and partners could access and contract Americanas Entrega services.

Challenges

The large scale and significance of the products involved made building the new solution a major challenge.

Beyond a tight deadline, we also needed to integrate the new product into Americanas S.A.‘s preexisting digital ecosystem, which was developed using different technologies. This required a careful balance between the legacy infrastructure and our new development.

Lastly, we faced the challenge of clearly and effectively presenting the information for three products that had now become different service categories within a single solution.
